In October last year, Oraro & Company Advocates crossed the dozen partners mark after Lilian Renee Omondi joined the firm's Dispute Resolution (Tax) Practice Group as a partner. The former LSK Vice President joined Oraro & Company Advocates from the Tax Advisory Firm of Ernest & Martin Associates where she served as Head of the Tax and Legal Department.
Renee brings to Oraro & Co. a wealth of experience acquired in a career spanning over 24 years. Over the years, she has represented clients in notable matters in such areas as construction, real estate, energy supply, telecommunication, manufacturing and non-profit, among others. In addition, Renee has served as a member of the Tax Appeal Tribunal, Auctioneers Licensing Board and the Tobacco Control Board.
Renee holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Liverpool, a Post-graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Nagpur University. Additionally, she is a Notary Public, Certified Public Secretary and Commissioner for Oaths.
